Flow State
A new interactive installation by digital artist Alex May

When: 12 July 2018
Time: 18:00 - 20:00
Where: The Francis Crick Institute, 1 Midland Road, London NW1 1AT

Flow State explores and reveals the inner workings of the Francis Crick Institute from the perspective of British artist Alex May. Through unprecedented access to the Crick, Alex has collected, juxtaposed and overlaid hundreds of film clips to create an intriguing glimpse into Europe's largest biomedical research institute under one roof.

The artwork can sense when it is being closely observed, revealing more about itself as the viewer approaches.

Supported by The Francis Crick Family Trust, the display also tells the story of the great scientist after whom the institute is named.
