CAS Talk 2.2: Introducing Microworld @ HOME by Genetic Moo

Nicola Schauerman will talk about Genetic Moo's lockdown project, Microworld @ HOME, featuring live-streaming of their digital ecosystem from their living room. Since the lockdown began, they've been experimenting with new creatures and technologies in a 3 x 4 metre digital incubator which they call TestBed.
Genetic Moo have run Microworlds around the world – produced and assisted by Lumen Arts Projects. Each Microworld is an interactive art space with cascades of digital creatures and engagement possibilities. They explore simulating digital nature, emergence and imagined future evolutions.
Genetic Moo are running Microworld @ HOME every Saturday between 2pm and 4pm (UK time). There will be a special event on Saturday 23rd May in collaboration with the Computer Arts Society. Please get in touch if you would like to contribute.
