CAS 2026 Members Exhibition: Open to All Digital Formats

The Computer Arts Society (CAS) invites entries to its 2026 Members Exhibition in the new CAS Online Gallery. Entries are already coming in, but there is room for more: a digital gallery can grow to accommodate the work. Members should not assume that their art is “too unusual” to enter. This year’s central message is simple: the exhibition is open to all digital formats.

Unlike many open calls, including those described as digital, CAS is not limiting submissions to static images, short videos or conventional screen-based work. If it is digital, exists online and can be linked to, members are encouraged to submit it. That could mean a feature-length documentary, a live performance hosted on a website, an interactive work, sound art, a game, a generative system, a web-based project, or something that does not fit neatly into an existing category.

“Challenge us,” says the Society. CAS will make every effort to bring accepted work into the gallery, whatever form it takes.

The exhibition will be presented in the new Voxels Space of the CAS Online Gallery, a browser-based virtual environment designed to host a full range of formats. Visitors can explore it in a desktop browser or through a VR headset. Works will be chosen by a CAS Committee (CASCOM) jury led by computer artist Paul Brown. Successful artworks will be considered for future inclusion in the CAS Art Collection, held by the Computer Arts Archive.

The exhibition opens on Wednesday 9th December 2026, with a launch event at BCS Moorgate in London featuring talks, 3D walkthroughs and selected artist presentations. A downloadable PDF catalogue and accompanying website will also be produced.

The submission form is designed to be simple and can take as little as five minutes to complete. Upload a work or provide a URL showing where it lives online, then add a brief description of the artwork and your artistic practice. Each artist may submit one work.

Entry is free for CAS members. Membership is also free: simply join the CAS mailing list.

The deadline is midnight GMT on Sunday 22nd November 2026.
