Sean Carroll

Sean Carroll is an artist, curator and researcher working with digital art, generative systems, music and artificial intelligence. Based in Leicester, he is Director of New Media Art Club CIC and COMPUTALA Festival, and Co-Director of Bring The Paint. His practice has developed from generative music and browser-based interactive work into research exploring AI, archives and computational culture. He completed a PhD at De Montfort University examining the impact of AI on archives and their use. His curatorial projects include New Generations and Listen, Scoundrels!, bringing historical computer art into dialogue with contemporary digital practice.
