Sue Gollifer has enjoyed a sixty-year career as an influential digital artist, curator, administrator, researcher and academic. At the University of Brighton, she established one of the first postgraduate MA programmes in Digital Media Arts. During the 1990s, she founded the Computers in Art and Design Education conference and curated ArCade, the UK’s first open international biennial exhibition of digital fine-art prints. She has served on numerous advisory boards, including ISEA, whose international headquarters she ran for 15 years, and SIGGRAPH, chairing its 2004 art show. In 2006, she received an iDMAa award for exceptional service to the international new-media community.
